About Us

01

Sam began his fitness journey at 18 years old, during his fall semester in college with the goal of putting on muscle and building confidence outside of the gym. His love for the gym led to him becoming a NASM certified personal trainer the following year where he began working for Gold’s Gym. During this time Sam worked at Kidsco, a before and after school daycare program with school aged children ages kindergarten through fifth grade. His enjoyment for educating children in this age group led to him pursuing a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/ Special Education at the University of Maryland.

Sam might just be the most talented and professional trainer I've worked with over my many years in the fitness industry. He's made incredible progress with clients that I didn't know was possible and continues to improve his craft year after year. His versatility as a trainer to treat almost any movement issue or achieve any fitness goal is one of the many reason any gym or client would be lucky to have him.

Ryan Prather Fitness Director of OneLife Fitness Olney

Sam is an expert in what he does. He is knowledgeable, professional, and extremely patient. My sessions with him were more productive than any one-on-one sessions in the mobility and internal task-specific arena. He took time to make sure I understood and could reproduce the exercises. Although passionate and intense, he brought a fun sense of humor to the training.

I have been working with my trainer Sam for more than two years now and have experienced remarkable healing. I started with constant back pain, within six weeks I was walking into the gym with back pain and walking out without back pain. Now with Sam’s help and daily stretching and exercise I rarely experience back pain. He has a holistic approach that is more effective than any physical therapist I have worked with in the past.

Bodybuilding. NOT. Bodybreaking.

The BodyBUILDING, not BodyBreaking training practice is aimed at creating a paradigm shift that redefines exercise into something that is truly bodybuilding, not bodybreaking.
